A mission built on respect, community, and practical help.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit standing alongside the families behind every uniform — the spouses, parents, children, and partners who serve right beside them.
Our Mission
Military Family Support exists to support, educate, and empower military and first responder families. We come alongside the people who carry the weight of service at home — the spouses doing solo parenting through deployments, the children adjusting to new schools every two years, the parents waiting on the next call, and the partners holding the line through long shifts and harder days.
We do this through honest community, accessible financial education, practical tools, and the simple act of showing up consistently for families who too often feel invisible.
Our Story
Military Family Support began with a simple frustration: too many families serving our country quietly struggle with isolation, financial pressure, and a lack of practical resources — while the systems around them assume someone else is helping.
So we started small. A free online community where families could connect honestly. A growing library of financial and practical education. A way to get selected new computers into the hands of families who need them. And a long-term commitment to keep showing up — not as a program, but as people.
Today, that work continues. We are building the kind of organization we wish had been there for the families we love.
Our Values
Honor
We respect the cost of service. Every interaction, program, and dollar should reflect the weight of what these families carry.
Honesty
No performative gratitude. No fluff. We say what is true and we do what we say.
Practical Help
We measure success by what actually changes in a family's life — not by impressions or applause.
Community First
People heal in relationship. Every program we build draws families closer, not further into a system.
Education That Travels
Skills, frameworks, and habits — the kind of help families can carry with them long after the program ends.
Stewardship
Every donation is held with care. We move quickly, spend modestly, and report transparently.
Nonprofit Credibility
Military Family Support is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
